Something about a Lion = Magnificent

When I was a little girl I had this wish, I always wanted to own a Lion. One with a Huge gorgeous mane. They never ever looked mean to me, like? Hmmm, they would want to have my arm for lunch! I just wanted one to hug and love. Obviously, as time went on and I grew up I got a wee bit wiser and new this was just not going to happen. But to this day whenever I see a lion on TV or a picture in a magazine, I think back to the idea that I still want to own one. Why am I sharing this?????? Well no particular reason except I really got a lot out of the quote in the above photo. We must all believe in ourselves and work towards our hopes and dreams, no matter what bumps happen along the way.

I must add beautiful flowers to this title. My Kalie Rose turned 21 years old yesterday. She looked so beautiful standing next to her bouquet of flowers. Along came this large and very pretty bumbleBee. It was so fascinating to see how long the bee stayed near by. We were snapping pictures and talking and laughing but this wonderful creature didn't fly away. It just makes me wonder! And also have a happy heart

I LOVE GLITTER! IS WHAT THE PICTURES SAYS, :( I cut it off! Perfect example of how I really don't know how to use all my fun GLITTER tools as of yet! But I am working on it! :)

I am going to admit to all of you that I am still at my age a HUGE fan of Pooh Bear. This above picture to me can represent many many different artists in many creative fields. As for me, I have a very very long way to go to reach my dreams of creating the type of pieces of jewelry that I want to create but this picture of Pooh just tells it all for me. I love Glitter!! :) It is all just kinda running together for now in this master piece for Pooh and for me also. But there is much hope, today I am putting the finishing touches on a piece that I have been wanting to make for over a year but I just couldn't figure it out. Now that I have , I can't believe it took me so long! DARN!
It doesn't have all the glitter ( so to speak) just yet but I am working on it!

LiL Bits of News that brings me Smiles

Mowglie, Sadie & Penny! Yes, they bring me so many smiles. They are always close by no matter what I might be doing. Mowglie doesn't quite understand why the 2 princesses get to stay in way more then him. He does know how to make me feel so sad for him. He is really great at it. I imagine you all have a similar situation. So my Best news is this- My daughter Kalie chose to try again to bring a sweet baby into the world & I guess it was what was to be because sometime in July of 2010 she will give birth to a precious bundle. I can't even begin to mention the roller coaster of emotions this has brought once again into our family. For those of you who don't know we lost our first grand child in February of 2009. You may read my older posts to meet him , I would love for you to know who he is. Anyway, Kalie has color in her face again and her eyes are beginning to sparkle again. For this we are VERY GRATEFUL. We never thought it was possible or that we would make it through last year but 2010 has arrived!
I actually started a New Spin Bike class 3 days a week at 6:30am in the morning! That was yet another NEVER going to happen thought. But I am faithfully showing up and really enjoying it. I have many many goals and if I don't watch it I ricochet from one thing to the next and nothing gets done so I am working on organization. OOOO I hope , I hope , I hope this goal will come true! I got a new camera, HAPPY DANCE!!!! It is a Nikon D3000, a beginning camera but it is more then enough camera for me and I am very excited about learning to take nice pictures with it. Of family most of all, of any pieces of Jewelry that I might make that might be good enough to show all of you, I hope , I hope , I hope. Hey is there anybody out there who can help me? I know you are all VERY busy being Santa's helpers and believe me I am going to buy Handmade like crazy and promote and do all that one can do to send folks I know in all your directions because for one I know they will never find anything like all your artwork. Soooo back to wondering if anyone could help me make a 3 column blog?????
I have so many things I want to learn to do this coming year and one of them is to get all my favorites blogs,buttons,pictures and anything else positive on this blog. But I really don't know how and I have tried to figured it out. Everything just gets so busy on one side of my blog page and it is so lopsided!!! :)
Yes I am pretty much a lopsided human being but I love all your buttons you have created and all your wonderful blog posts and I want to share them all. We visited New Mexico

I haven't blogged in a very long time. Not because I haven't wanted to, it's just I haven't felt like I had much that would be really captivating, pretty, fun and many other thoughts I would wish you all to have when you would pass through my way. As I am sitting here with my kitty "Sadie" literally right above my fingers as I type "LOVE HER" I am just fresh back from New Mexico. My family and I went to visit relatives. We were only gone a few short days but I love New Mexico. The colors there are a wonderful shade of oranges,reds,browns,greens, tans, and many more wonderful warm shades. I have always loved those colors. We drove through six states on our way back home to Orcas Island. Moab, Utah is Amazing with it's beautiful Rock formations. I took some pictures but they just never look like the Beautiful reality of passing through yourself. Please treat yourself sometime. I never realized there were so many Doves in New Mexico. My father in-law raises Pecans. He has a 20 acre farm and it was full of Doves. I couldn't believe it. I picked up many feathers off the ground as they flew so Peaceful and pretty. They loved eating the Pecans! As we all did. Pecans in everything! One of my many points I am trying to make her is this> Doves are a symbol of Peace! Who doesn't need Peace in their lives? This gave my heart and mind a much needed rest. I wish I could have taken good pictures to share with you. In my next life I hope I can be a great photographer because there are so many beautiful things to take pictures of in this world. Alot of the time it is in your very own backyard (or front) :) you know what I mean! So I could go on and on but I won't for one reason I jump from thought to thought and it makes you very dizzy I am sure! OH MY GOSH! Now this is what I call BEAUTIFUL! Anything that Beth touches turns to what my eyes and hearts definition of a VERY talented human being. An artist of many many things. I love her work. I love just strolling through her pages and pages of Jewels, her writings on all her sites and well, just all of it!!! Her photos are sooooooo soft and beautiful on the eyes. This is what I would call "EYE CANDY" I had the chance to see some SilverSmiths in Albuquerque, NM and these Navajo Artists are as I have said for many years my favorite. These were Award Winning Pieces. Well my point is Beth of "Mia Bella" ranks right up there with them all. A HUGE KUDOS, HUGS, SHOUT OUTS! Whatever you want to call it to you!

My Beautiful Red Head Graduates

I am posting in Lime Green because this is Chelsie's favorite color.(Well I was trying to anyway, something didn't work)(Hmm, most likely me :) I again have been away for awhile. I read many many blogs and appreciate the pictures, the art, the inspirational stories and much more. I just have to take one day at time. It's been 4 months since our Lil Angel Lukiaya was swiftly taken away. All of us in the house just do our best to love one another and appreciate what we do have. I just had to share this picture showing my youngest Graduating. This smile is priceless to me. She has worked extremely hard to get to this point. School has not been easy for her. She also did sports and worked about 25 hours a week. Much Much more then I have gotten done in the past months. I wish the best for all you of you and hope things are turning brighter. I also have come across some really uplifting blogs that I hope you might all get a bit of sunshine out of. I am going to post them. I really hope it is okay. I mean well. Well obviously I have NO CLUE as to what I am doing right now but I am just going to go through it & hopefully I will come out on the other side with a smile for all of you. That would be my goal. I found this blog as I somehow went down the blog road??????? So please do click on the Link above this post, it is worth a peak. I especially love the Post that is Titled "Reminder" I have found many I want to list on my blog so that I can always return to them but I just am not sure of what is legal & what is not???? I do not ever want to offend someone by copying something that is not rightfully mine to copy. There are SO MANY quotes & pictures that just put a HUGE smile on my face & I would love to look at them daily & share also with you. But YAH???? Here I go a rambling. I am just figuring out also, by blog strolling, that people do post pictures of stuff they love they may come out of magazines or flowers or cars or ANYTHING! And then they just write. I get so nervous as to what to write so that you would find it worth while. As of late though most of what I would write is just to sad & that is not my goal here. It does help to write though. I just miss my grandson SO MUCH!! He brought love, joy, happiness, PEACE like I have never experienced before. But I was doing my day job today & I came across a book that has been sitting on this table for YEARS, since about 1998??? I decided I needed to sit down & read it, It is a very small, fast read. I am TRYING to figure it out!

This morning it is quiet in the house. I got up & let one of our cats outside. It looks like it is going to maybe sunshine a lil bit. Every morning I get up & I hope today that I can have the strength & energy to at least get just a few of my goals accomplished. I am wondering if it is just me? What can I do? What can I do? It's been just a little over a month since our LiL Luke left us. We all are still having such painful moments. I want so badly to figure out how to take that pain away from My Kalie Rose, My Chelsie & my Husband. I want to give them hope. I want to help them think of new goals & then give them the energy & inspiration to reach them. Unfortunately, I am failing at all of the above mentioned & more. I am not saying this for sympathy. No, I just need to write it down. Last night Kalie went to bed once again with a very broken empty heart. Chelsie is still being asked at her work,"Hows the baby" People do not mean to hurt her, they just don't know he is not with us here on Earth. She hurts daily also. Kalie is sitting down at the bench & picking the tools up & supplies & she creates beautiful pieces. She just made a pair of earrings & she named them "Let the Love Grow" I love them & I love her & how she is really trying so hard to get through this lost of her sweet baby. I am proud of her & I am very proud Of my Grandson. I just want to send a HUGE Thank you to my 1000Markets Friends who I "Just never knew" or I had lost faith that the world has such beautiful souls in it. You all have GIVEN SO MUCH! We use your strength EVERY single day. Sometimes by the hour. Sending Much love to all of you.

Today is a very difficult day. I guess I am using this post to try & heal a lil bit. It was 1 month ago today that our Angel was given to us. We got to Love him, hold him, tell him how special he is, & he gave us back all of it and MUCH MUCH MORE! We do not know the reason???? But he was taken very swiftly & suddenly 10 days later, Feb. 17th,09. This photo is of my Daughter, lil Luke's momma, who was NEVER SO HAPPY OR AT PEACE! I am going to try hard to make this horrible painful time in our lives into a POSITIVE energy SOMEHOW! I have had MUCH support from my dear Friend Sue with the www.peaceandlovemarket.com. And my wonderful friends in "The Village Market".Alyson has been walking with me & holding me up. Sue sent me this poem. It has helped my daughter so very much in this very empty time. Thank you my dear friends with all my heart. Feel free to post anything here about something you might need some healing for. May you all have healthy, happy times ahead.

I just had to re-post this quote. This is really something! It has been a life long journey for me. I guess I shouldn't expose myself like that. But as each day goes by I realize what is important & what is not! I have been SO Blessed!, by my new friends that I have met on 1000markets.com. I am SO FRUSTRATED! I really didn't think I could be SO SLOW IN THE HEAD! This computer stuff has got it REELING AROUND! Kalie Rose had a ton of ambition today. This would be my first born daughter. If I can figure out to get a photo on here I am going to put her picture. Having kind of a hard time.:{ So the first posts might not be to intriguing. I am really excited about this Blog so that is why I am just kinda thinking of things to say just so I can Post. :) What we did today was rearrange the babies nursery & her room. It is almost making it real. But in a week or so IT will be REAL. She is having a baby boy but can't come up with a name. So stay tuned, It is going to be a mystery for all of us. I already see the difference in being a Grandmother instead of a momma. I get to just love on the baby a whole lot. I have read blogs for a while now & have bookmarked many. I am hoping I can get involved & provide a pretty interesting place for you to all sit & rest & read awhile.
